Hexenkunde is a quarterly research-based magazine that combines beautiful and atmospheric illustrations with an educational and scientific approach to discovering the various ways pre-Christian cultures in Europe and beyond have channeled the forces of nature in order to heal and communicate with the spirit world.

Consequently, Hexenkunde draws its research from multiple disciplines such as comparative mythology, folklore studies, ethnoarchaeology and others. Its goal is to review primary and academic literature to ask questions, to dig deeper, and to present accurate information.

The literature regarding Witchcraft and animistic healing-systems is both vast and complex. Hexenkunde provides deeper insights without overwhelming the reader, it discusses educational and academic literature in order to demonstrate that the mysterious element to the myths, traditions and customs is still alive and well. Hexenkunde is an ethnographic excursion into myth and lore and would like to take you on a journey.

Fantastic and informative.

This magazine is filled with important and valuable information that is backed by source material. You can tell a lot of research went into it. It's laid out so it's easy to understand. There's something for anyone that is seeking knowledge backed by scholarly research.
I really like the gloss finish too. I can refer back to it often without worry of it falling apart.

Refreshing and Unique

The layout is beautiful and the pictures are amazing! Very well and technically written with validated sources. Hexenkunde presents a unique and wondering point of view that cautions us against accepting the status quo as presented, and encourages an open mind to past practices and their meaning. Very enjoyable; can't wait for more!
